Where we hear about:
- What developers want from their organizations, their job skills, and their teams in order to be their most productive
- What can management do to ensure their developers are happy and at their most productive
- How tools and process contribute to (or take away from) happiness and productivity
For this session, we will present the results of the world’s first detailed survey attempting to understand Software Developer Happiness.
This survey aims to understand how developers view their world and what makes them happy and fulfilled in their careers.
Zenhub surveyed 380 English-speaking software developers throughout March 2022.
There are more than just deep insights; this report quantitatively establishes a connection between developer happiness and productivity.
It also provides detailed recommendations for both management and developers on how they can maximize their own happiness.
