Why does agile thrive in indie studios? Join Umar Ijaz for a live Q&A on teamwork, trust, and building better ways to create games together.
Join Umar Ijaz for a thoughtful exploration of why independent game development is a natural fit for agile ways of working. Drawing from his experience across teams and communities, Umar highlights how agility isn’t something you simply implement—it grows from intentional collaboration, strong communication, and meaningful relationships.
In the fast-moving world of indie development, constraints often become strengths. Smaller teams, closer feedback loops, and shared ownership create the perfect conditions for adaptive, human-centered workflows. Umar will also share insights from his work with People in Games, offering real examples of how teams can foster healthier, more sustainable development cultures.
This interactive session includes a live Q&A, giving you the chance to dive deeper into practical challenges and opportunities. Whether you’re building your first game or refining your studio’s approach, you’ll gain valuable perspectives on making agile truly work for people.
