In this talk with Steffen Kastner and Vasco Duarte, Steffen shared insights on how to make your PM career start less painful. He talked about patterns that make PMs' lives easier or harder, such as clinging to stakeholder input and user feedback too closely, and being too attached to solutions too early.
Steffen also discussed common anti-patterns that drive PMs to these behaviors, such as old habits and the need to be sure about what will happen. He recommended using design thinking environments and story mapping, and avoiding the feeling of control.
Steffen also shared some tools that work well in PMs' daily work, such as running strict dailies and using MIRO and Blitzminds.
